Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trainee Dispenser to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. Duties
- Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of medication for patients.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications and health advice.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of medication administration and pharmacy practices.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in medication administration or patient care is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
