Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Site Services Operative to join our dynamic facilities management team. This role involves maintaining clean, safe, organised and compliant working environments across both our sites. The role supports production, welfare, facilities, hygiene, housekeeping and general site presentation by completing planned cleaning and facilities schedules to the required standard.
The successful candidate will work across production areas, offices, welfare facilities, stores, external areas and shared spaces, using approved cleaning equipment, materials and methods. The role is important in supporting health, safety, hygiene, environmental controls, employee welfare and the overall standard of the site.
Working hours are 07:00-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-12:00 Friday
Duties
- Working to a cleaning schedule across designated areas of our sites.
- Ensuring cleaning activities are completed to the required standard and recorded where required
- Identify areas that require additional cleaning or improvement and escalate issues where standards cannot be achieved.
- Supporting the reduction of dust, contamination, slip risks and poor housekeeping standards across the site.
- Replenishing soap, barrier cream, skin conditioning cream, toilet rolls, hand towels and other hygiene supplies
- Supporting laundry cover during holidays, sickness or operational need
- Support high-level cleaning activities where required, subject to appropriate training, equipment and safe systems of work.
Experience
- Previous industrial cleaning experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning machinery
- Basic understanding of health, safety, hygiene and environmental standards in an industrial setting
