Skilled Labourer
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Labourer to join our construction team.
This is a hands-on role working across a busy construction site, assisting trades and carrying out a range of general construction duties. We are looking for someone who can work independently, understands site safety and is comfortable undertaking physically demanding work.
Key Responsibilities
- General skilled labouring duties across the construction site
- Assisting bricklayers, joiners and other trades as required
- Moving and preparing materials
- Basic demolition, groundworks and site preparation
- Using hand and power tools
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Following site plans, instructions and health & safety procedures
- Working at height where appropriately trained
- Operating plant or access equipment where the relevant ticket is held
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Good practical skills and ability to use common construction tools
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Additional Qualifications
Higher rates of pay are available for candidates holding relevant additional qualifications or tickets, including:
- PASMA
- CPCS
- IPAF
- Telehandler
- Dumper
- Roller
- Excavator
- MEWP
- Abrasive Wheels
- Working at Height
- Other relevant plant or construction qualifications

Pay
Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Enhanced rates are available for candidates with additional plant, access or specialist construction tickets.

We want someone who is practical, dependable and willing to get involved in whatever is required to keep the site progressing. This would suit an experienced labourer who has developed a broader range of construction skills and is looking for a well-paid, varied site role.
