Are you a committed Christian* who is passionate about the persecuted church and the mission of Open Doors?
-
Are you an exceptional relationship builder who is passionate about engaging and inspiring supporters to grow their commitment to the persecuted church?
-
Are you excited by the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with high-value supporters and connect them with opportunities to make a lasting impact?
Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.
As a Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in developing and growing relationships with high-value supporters who are passionate about standing with persecuted Christians. Working as part of our Partnerships team, you will manage a caseload of existing supporters while also identifying and engaging potential new partners. Through thoughtful, personal and strategic relationship management, you will seek to understand individual interests and giving priorities, developing bespoke opportunities that enable supporters to make a meaningful difference.
You will work closely with the Head of Partnerships and colleagues across the organisation to create and deliver plans that grow engagement, income and long-term support. From welcoming new partners and sharing the impact of their giving, to developing funding proposals, organising exclusive events and private briefings, you will ensure supporters receive a high-quality and personal experience. You will also have the opportunity to lead supporter trips to meet our field teams and experience first-hand the work of Open Doors and the courage of our persecuted church family.
Working with colleagues across Partnerships, Marketing, Communications and Events, you will help deliver a range of creative and engaging opportunities for supporters to pray, give and take action. You will use your strategic thinking, communication skills and understanding of supporter relationships to identify new opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships and contribute to the growth of the Partnerships team. This is a role for someone who is confident building trusted relationships, able to communicate compellingly and motivated by the opportunity to connect people with the global persecuted church.
You will have the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors and to work with integrity and with purpose. We offer a flexible role with a good work-life balance, huge job satisfaction and employee benefits. You will work with some inspirational people and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your career.
