About the role
We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Filmed Assessment & Musical Theatre Examiner Officer to join our Exams team.
This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of two growing areas of the RAD's examinations operation. You will act as the primary support contact for filmed examinations and Musical Theatre examiners, providing excellent customer service while ensuring examination processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with quality assurance requirements.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the administration, monitoring and quality assurance of filmed assessments, while also coordinating support for our Musical Theatre examiners throughout recruitment, training and ongoing activity.
Working closely with colleagues across the Exams department and wider organisation, you will help ensure that candidates, teachers, examiners and international offices receive a professional and responsive service at every stage of the examinations process.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for filmed examination and Musical Theatre examiner enquiries, delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Coordinate and monitor filmed examination activity, ensuring entries, assessments and associated processes are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Carry out quality assurance checks and maintain accurate records and audit trails for filmed examinations.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing administration of Musical Theatre examiners.
- Liaise with internal departments, examiners, teachers, candidates and international offices to support the effective delivery of examinations worldwide.
- Manage shared inboxes and ensure enquiries are responded to promptly, professionally and accurately.
- Maintain examiner and examination records, providing information and reports as required.
- Support testing, development and continuous improvement of examination systems, processes and procedures.
What we are looking for
You will be an organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven administrative experience, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities effectively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with confidence in responding to enquiries and building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with experience of working with databases and maintaining precise records.
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Interviews will be held on site at RAD HQ on 12th August 2026.
