Overview:
Curaliving provides supported living for 16-18-year-olds. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR and Admin Executive to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support various HR functions and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in HR practices, and familiarity with HR software systems. You will contribute to creating a positive workplace culture while effectively managing a variety of administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Recruitment Management: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process by crafting compelling job descriptions, posting vacancies across diverse platforms, proactively sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews. Collaborate with hiring managers to refine recruitment strategies.
- Employee Records Maintenance: Ensure meticulous management of employee records within the Bright HR system, maintaining compliance with data privacy regulations. Regularly audit records for accuracy and completeness.
- Onboarding Support: Facilitate a comprehensive onboarding experience for new employees by preparing welcome materials, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring access to necessary resources and training.
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement programs, such as recognition schemes and team-building activities. Monitor feedback and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Performance Management: Support the performance management process by aiding in goal-setting discussions, providing resources for evaluations, and facilitating feedback sessions.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities, encouraging continuous learning and career advancement.
- Data Management and HR Metrics: Conduct precise data entry related to employee information and HR metrics, generating reports to provide insights on recruitment, turnover, and employee engagement.
- Effective Communication: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, fostering an environment of open and transparent communication.
- Conflict Resolution: Collaborate with management to address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution, utilizing mediation techniques to promote understanding.
- Compliance and Policy Development: Stay informed about labour laws to ensure compliance, assisting in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
Administrative Tasks:
- Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, equipment maintenance, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute materials as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and organize company documentation for easy access and assist with report generation for management.
- Budgeting/Payroll: Coordinate payroll and assist with budgeting processes.
- Support for Projects: Provide organizational support for various administrative projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a human resources role or similar administrative position is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR software systems, particularly Bright HR.
- Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
- Experience in social media management is a plus for promoting company culture and recruitment efforts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
