Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer – Immediate Opportunities
We’re seeking experienced, high‑quality Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join a busy, efficient contract installing smart meters in domestic properties.
The Role
- Full‑time work with pre‑booked appointments
- 4.5–5 jobs per day (jobs, not assets)
- Competitive price‑per‑fit rates:
- £100 Dual Install
- £60 Single Install
- 10‑day paid induction (accommodation + meals included)
- 2‑day buddying period
- Permit to Operate/MOCOPA completed during induction
- Consumables and parts supplied via local ByBox
- Recommend‑a‑friend bonus up to £500
- Must use own smartphone (8GB RAM / 64GB storage minimum)
Call-Out
- Mandatory: 1 week in 6
- Swaps allowed between engineers
- No additional call‑outs after 8:30pm (Mon–Fri) or 5:30pm (weekends)
- Weekend in‑day work may become available later
Induction
- 10‑day pass/fail induction
- Accommodation, breakfast & evening meal provided
Daily Expectations
- Start at customer property for 8am
- Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
- Opportunity to pick up additional in‑day work
What’s Provided
- Van hire available (£200/week) – Vauxhall Vivaro/Peugeot Partner size
- Uniform & PPE
- Consumables and stock delivered to local ByBox
Payment Options
- CIS via approved Umbrella
- Limited Company
- Weekly payments (2 weeks in arrears)
Requirements
- Smart Metering Diploma/Qualification
- MOCOPA
- CMA1 or CCN1 & MET1
- Full UK driving licence
- Clean DBS
- EUSR (preferred but not essential)
