Job Summary
We require a highly organised and flexible storeman to help organise our electrical stores in Baldock, Huntingdon and Peterborough. The Ideal candidate will have an understanding of electrical materials
Typical responsibilities:
- Initially working at our Head office in Baldock to organise our electrical stores and then move to our offsite storage in Huntingdon and Peterborough.
- Receiving and unpacking materials and supplies: Ensuring that all materials are received and unpacked correctly.
- Checking materials and supplies: Inspecting materials and supplies for damage or discrepancies and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining stock records: Accurately maintaining stock records through company inventory systems.
- Loading and unloading deliveries: Safely loading and unloading lorries and vehicles using counterbalance forklifts.
- Processing customer returns: Accurately processing customer returns and ensuring stock is undamaged.
- Maintaining cleanliness: Ensuring all areas are maintained to high housekeeping standards.
- Issuing parts and kits: Issuing correct parts to the machine and fabrication shops as required per production schedule.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
