We maintain prestigious private estates, commercial developments, schools and premium residential properties throughout Cheshire.

About the Role
Working alongside an experienced Team Leader, you’ll help deliver the exceptionally high standards NorthHort is known for.
You’ll work on a wide variety of sites, helping create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces while continually developing your horticultural knowledge and practical skills.
No two days are the same.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of grounds maintenance.
- Produce work to an exceptionally high standard.
- Take pride in every site you attend.
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a professional team.
- Use your initiative and identify areas requiring attention.
- Communicate professionally with clients when required.
- Follow instructions from your Team Leader while developing your own knowledge and skills.
- Help maintain clean vans, machinery and equipment.
- Complete work to deadlines without compromising quality.
Daily Duties
- Grass cutting
- Strimming and edging
- Hedge cutting
- Shrub pruning
- Lawn care
- Weed control
- Planting
- Leaf clearance
- Litter picking
- Seasonal grounds maintenance
Additional works include:
- Turfing
- Seeding
- Mulching
- Soft landscaping
- Pressure washing
- Planting schemes

The ideal candidate will:

Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- 1 year of grounds maintenance experience.
- Horticultural qualification.
- PA1 & PA6.
- Plant knowledge.
- Trailer licence.
- Experience operating commercial machinery.
