Kitchen Lead – Worcester Lodge

3–4 shifts per week (Mon–Sun, including alternate weekends)
About the role
We’re looking for a hands‑on Kitchen Lead to create a warm, homely dining experience for our residents. You’ll ensure meals are well presented, the kitchen runs smoothly, and high standards are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Plate and present pre‑prepared meals to a high standard
- Bake fresh bread, cakes, and home‑style treats
- Support themed meals and special occasions
- Manage dietary needs, allergies, and preferences
- Order food, manage stock, and reduce waste
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance
- Prepare an inviting dining environment
- Engage residents and make mealtimes enjoyable
- Supervise kitchen staff and promote teamwork

- Kitchen experience (care or hospitality preferred)
- Strong food hygiene knowledge
- Organised, reliable, and proactive
