Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Performance & Insights Lead to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance overall business performance. Duties
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance metrics.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions aligned with business needs, following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, perform comprehensive business analysis, and translate needs into technical specifications.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction from databases like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and others; ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Design and implement robust database structures, including database design principles, to support scalable analytics initiatives.
- Utilize programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and analysis skills to manipulate large datasets for insights generation.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions.
- Use Visio or similar tools to create process diagrams that support project planning and workflow optimization.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, processes, and analytical methodologies for transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business analysis with a strong understanding of data analysis skills across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, SQL (including SQL Server), Oracle databases, VBA, Bash scripting (Unix shell), and Visio.
- Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies for managing analytics projects from conception through deployment.
- Expertise in database design principles to develop efficient data storage solutions supporting analytics needs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing complex analysis using analysis tools like R or Python is highly desirable.
