Workshop Assistant/Technician
(Salary dependent on experience)
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Workshop Assistant/Technician to join our team based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in electronic assembly who takes pride in producing high-quality work and has a keen eye for detail. As we manufacture assemblies for the medical industry, maintaining the highest standards and a 100% defect-free approach is essential.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly of cable harnesses and electronic components
- Soldering, tinning and joining cables
- Soldering components onto PCBs
- Using hand crimping tools
- Working accurately to detailed specifications and quality standards, ensuring all products meet strict medical industry requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in cable harness assembly or electronic assembly is preferred
- Ability to solder cables and PCB components
- Experience using hand crimping tools
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- A conscientious approach and commitment to producing high-quality work
Training:
Full on-site training will be provided for the right candidate.
Location:
The role is based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. Due to limited public transport links in the area, own transport is essential.
