Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman/woman to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and improving our facilities through a wide range of repair, renovation, and installation tasks. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and ready to tackle various projects that ensure our spaces are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Whether performing routine maintenance or tackling complex repairs, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our environment in top condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks
- Carry out construction painting projects to refresh walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools efficiently for different repair and installation projects.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations while maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws, grinders; and fabrication equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques and surface preparation.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; certification in specific trades (e.g., electrical or welding) is advantageous but not mandatory.
