Role Overview
Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, we are looking to recruit two skilled labourers to join our team.
Current and upcoming projects include:
- A large veterinary hospital build in Middlesbrough
- A commercial development in Newcastle
- Two residential new-build projects commencing later this year
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a small, close-knit and highly collaborative team, and who are eager to support and learn across multiple trades.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out a broad range of skilled labour tasks across sites
- Assist with site setup, organisation, and clean-up
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials (including wood) to specification
- Install fixtures such as hinges, handles, locks, and fittings
- Paint, finish, and treat surfaces
- Assist electricians with tasks such as pulling cables and general installation work
- Support plumbing activities including basic installation and preparation work
- Work alongside and assist multiple trades, gaining experience across different disciplines
- Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure correct sequencing of work
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in skilled labour or construction (preferred)
- Strong joinery or woodworking skills (advantageous)
- Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge (beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (required)
We are a small, collaborative team, so we are looking for individuals who are adaptable, multi-skilled, and keen to learn. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to develop across different trades are essential. We actively support cross-trade learning and ongoing skill development.

Pay: £24,784.50-£27,734.50 per year
