Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will create innovative menus, oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain high standards of food quality, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and execute creative menus with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Lead, mentor, and manage kitchen staff.
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all dishes served.
Manage inventory, budgeting, and procurement to minimise waste and control costs.
Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards.
Collaborate with management to develop special events, promotions, and themed dining experiences.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Passion for high-quality, creative cuisine and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining consistency.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen management best practices.
