AUK Group is growing, and we're looking for an experienced warehouse operative to join our evening team. This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of our operation — making sure orders are picked, vans are loaded, and the warehouse is fully replenished and ready for the next day's deliveries.
The Role
- Picking orders using handheld scanners
- Operating ride-on picking machines, counterbalance forklift, and reach truck
- Loading vans for daily deliveries
- Replenishing picking locations ready for the next day's operation
- Goods-In booking
- Despatching orders
- Supporting general warehouse operations
- Occasional van driving cover when required
Hours
37.5 hours per week.
Monday- Friday 17:30-01:30
£15.90/ hour (inclusive of shift premium)
What We're Looking For
- Valid counterbalance forklift (FLT) and reach truck licences — essential for this role
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- A proactive attitude and ambition to progress
- A full UK driving licence is desirable (for occasional van driving cover)
