Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the restaurant or hospitality venue, ensuring smooth operation throughout each shift.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to optimise team performance.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and health regulations across all areas of operation.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure excellent service delivery.
- Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and food production processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Experience in serving customers and delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
- Knowledge of restaurant management systems and inventory control practices.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Background in culinary arts or hotel management is highly desirable; experience in barista work or bar management is an advantage.
