Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our premises, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for clients and staff alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across various areas, including bedrooms, front of house, gym, changing rooms & toilets, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by sanitising surfaces, floors, and fixtures regularly.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with specialised cleaning projects as required, including deep cleans or specialised sanitation procedures.
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is beneficial.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential to ensure thorough cleanliness standards are met.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and supporting the wider team’s efforts.
