Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible for the right candidate)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Chef with a passion for baking to join our busy café team.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys producing high-quality homemade food and takes pride in presentation and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Baking and preparing homemade pies, quiches, scones, and other café favourites
- Preparing fresh sandwiches, toasties, and light lunches
- Supporting the daily operation of the café kitchen
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Assisting with menu preparation and daily specials
- Managing stock and ensuring ingredients are used efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a café, bakery, or kitchen environment
- A keen interest in baking and homemade food production
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Food Hygiene Certificate preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
