We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue & Pricing Analyst specialising in the travel industry. Duties
- Analyse large datasets using SQL to identify revenue opportunities and optimise pricing models
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports with Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Utilise Microsoft Excel for detailed financial analysis, modelling, and forecasting
- Assist in financial planning processes by providing insights into revenue trends and pricing strategies
- Prepare professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint for internal stakeholders and executive management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure alignment of strategies
- Conduct analysis of market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to inform strategic decisions
- Support accounting functions related to revenue recognition and financial reporting
- Organise data collection processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reporting activities
Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Strong experience with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualisations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of financial planning principles within the travel sector
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively
- Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Competence in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint for report presentation purposes
- Fluency in English with exceptional organisational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Basic understanding of accounting principles relevant to revenue recognition and financial statements
- IT literacy with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools or software as required
