Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Agricultural Service Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a wide range of agricultural equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on agricultural machinery including tractors, harvesters, and other specialised equipment.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs using schematics and wiring diagrams.and tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Operate heavy machinery such as tractors & machinery safely during maintenance procedures
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate records of service work performed and parts utilised
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
Requirements
- Proven experience in equipment repair, mechanical maintenance, or related fields within agriculture or heavy machinery sectors
- Knowledge if possible of fabrication, welding, soldering, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Experience of working with tractors and machinery is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration
- Relevant certifications or training in mechanical repair or electrical systems are advantageous

Pay: £32,000.00-£56,000.00 per year
