Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy General Manager to support the overall operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in hotel management, and excellent guest service abilities. Fluency in multiple languages and previous hospitality experience are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Support the management team in implementing organisational policies and procedures
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of hospitality and service excellence
- Manage guest relations, addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate with various departments such as housekeeping, front desk, food & beverage, and maintenance to optimise operational efficiency
- Contribute to staff training programmes, fostering a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement
- Assist in financial management tasks including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management, ideally at supervisory or managerial level
- Multilingual skills are highly advantageous; bilingual candidates will be preferred
- Previous experience in guest services or customer relations roles is essential
- Familiarity with hospitality software systems and operational procedures is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and staff alike
Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
