We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Joiner to join our dynamic Garden room installation teams. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation of joinery components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and install woodwork, cabinetry, frameworks, roofing structures, and other joinery elements.
- Perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky materials during fabrication or installation processes.
- Conduct on-site measurements and ensure precise fitting of joinery components in various construction projects.
- Assist with construction painting, masonry work, plumbing connections, electrical tasks, or roofing as needed to support project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, other tradespeople, and clients to ensure timely project completion with quality craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter with a strong portfolio demonstrating completed projects.
- Proficiency in fabrication techniques, assembly processes, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Solid understanding of carpentry principles, joinery methods, roofing techniques, masonry basics, plumbing systems, electrical experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into precise physical work.
- Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not mandatory.
- Full Clean diving licence
