My Lighthouse is a new way for experienced carers to find work directly with families, no agency taking a cut of your pay. We are recruiting carers onto our platform for live-in and hourly roles across the UK.
We connect you directly with families who need care, you keep what you earn, and you choose the work that suits you.
We are currently seeking a visiting carer for a role in E4, London:
Pay: £13 per hour
Start: In the next month
Working pattern: 8 hours per week, flexible arrangement with light duties
Key responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support hygiene and toileting needs
- Help with cooking and meal preparation
- Assist with household tasks, groceries, medication, mobility, and driving to appointments
Requirements
- Must be patient and compassionate
- Should be familiar with Indian or Mauritian culture
- Must have a valid driving license
About the client
- Female client with dementia and mild cognitive impairment
- Has arthritis, diabetes, heart failure, and Parkinson's
- Difficult to engage with and non-verbal
This role will suit someone who is warm, kind, emotionally supportive and exceptionally patient.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
