Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning rental and holiday properties that have been vacated. We also carry out cleaning to newly built and renovated commercial and residential properties. Your efforts will ensure that environments are spotless, safe, and ready to occupy.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial or residential spaces including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, fixtures, and appliances to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms and kitchens removing grease and limescale.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness levels and identify any areas needing additional attention.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning or janitorial work.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various environments.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
