Job title: Personal Care Assistant
Location: Poole
Job purpose: To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable a disabled lady who needs care and support to live at home with her family.
About the individual: Along with her family, you will be supporting a lady with an acquired brain injury to live in her own home who needs full assistance with hoisting, feeding and personal care needs.
Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday, 3 visits daily, approx. times 9.30-10.30am 2.00-3.00pm and 5.00-6.00pm
Saturday-Sunday 9.30am-3.00pm
Main duties Personal Care:
-Showering with use of a shower chair
- Washing
-Teeth cleaning
-Dressing
-Administering medication
-Feeding and assisting with drinking
-Brushing hair
-Changing incontinence pads
-Domestic duties:
-Cooking and preparing food and drinks washing up
-Making the bed
-General cleaning around the home.
These duties may vary from day-to-day!

Skills, qualifications and experience Essential:
Confidentiality good at building relationships hoisting knowledge experience with personal care likes dogs and cat Other Requirements Essential: DBS Check will be required Legally Able to Work in UK
