Trainee Laboratory Technician

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our team at our bitumen membrane manufacturing facility in Corby.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in laboratory testing and quality control. Full training will be provided, and you will work alongside experienced colleagues to learn all aspects of laboratory testing within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Train to carry out quality control testing on raw materials and finished bitumen membrane products.
- Learn to perform laboratory tests in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Accurately record and maintain test results using Microsoft Excel.- Assist in identifying and reporting any non-conforming materials or products.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe laboratory environment.- Work closely with the production team to support consistent product quality.
- Undertake other duties as required, including occasional manual handling and general production support.

- Previous laboratory or manufacturing experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Able to commute to our site in Corby, Northamptonshire.
