As an Agent, you will play a key role in overseeing various civil engineering and mains renewal projects across the M4 corridor while leading and coordinating a multidiscipline team. Your responsibilities will span a range of business areas, providing you with a unique and fulfilling experience not commonly found in larger organisations. You will take ownership of your assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Project Management: Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, from planning to execution, with a focus on safety, quality, commercial viability, and client satisfaction.
Compliance and Policies: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant legislation, internal policies, and procedures, particularly with regards to Health & Safety, environmental standards, and quality control.
Financial Management: Contribute to the overall business cash flow and margin by effectively managing, planning, reporting, and forecasting project finances.
Health, Safety, and Environment: Drive and promote a culture of excellence in Health, Safety, Quality, and the Environment throughout all project stages.
Client Relations: Cultivate strong customer relationships to guarantee exceptional quality, safety, and foster repeat business opportunities.
Resource Management: Implement efficient project resource allocation, including equipment, site facilities, purchasing, and labour.
Team Development: Build and develop a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and engaging team members while providing performance management and continuous development opportunities.
Candidate Specification:
Experience: Demonstrated experience in successfully managing civil engineering projects across various sectors.
Team Supervision: Proficient in supervising and coordinating multiple multidisciplinary teams.
Project Controls: Skilled in project planning, control mechanisms, and effective management and resolution of change controls.
Commercial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, ensuring prudent cost management and optimised resource allocation.
Leadership: Exhibit strong leadership qualities, guiding the team towards project success.
Health & Safety: In-depth knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation.
Driver's License: Full and valid driving license.
