Full Time Head Chef
We are currently looking for an experience Full Time, Permanent Head Chef with a minimum of 3/4 years experience, producing quality food & service along with the running of a busy kitchen.
The Role:
· The Head Chef will be responsible for the overall operation of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service, strong leadership & excellent food quality. This is a hands on role requiring a balance between kitchen duties, operational management & staff development.
· Maintain high standard of food quality, safety & hygiene, ensuring high standards of cleanliness
· Manage stock control, ordering & calculating cost & achieving gross profit targets
· Ensure compliance with all kitchen procedures & processes
· Collaborate with Senior Management to align kitchen operations with business goals
· Maintain consistency while allowing room for creativity within structured menus.
· Support team training & developments to sustain operational excellence
· Adapt to business demands, ensuring seamless transitions between off-season & peak-season operations
· Oversee recruitment, training and ongoing development of Kitchen Staff
Ideal Candidate
· An experienced Head Chef or Kitchen Manager with a background in high volume kitchens within a Hotel or comparable business.
· A confident leader who can inspire & manage a talented & strong willed team
· Experience in operational processes such as stock control, compliance & cost management
· Capable of working within structured menus while bring innovative ideas to enhance the offering
· Calm, capable & able to thrive in a fast paced seasonal environment & present themselves professionally & takes pride in their kitchen
