Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic
We are a friendly, family-run independent garage looking for an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our team for an immediate start.

Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous experience working as a vehicle technician/mechanic
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to carry out servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT preparation to a high standard
- Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Perform mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and carry out any required repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am – 5:30pm
- 1 hour for lunch
