We are looking for
A Warehouse Operative who will support the safe and efficient movement of freight throughout the warehouse and yard. This includes loading, unloading, scanning, picking, packing and storing goods while following company procedures and health and safety requirements. The working hours for this position are 21.30pm until 05.45am Monday to Saturday morning.

What you will be doing:
- Load and unload vehicles manually or using mechanical handling equipment.
- Break down shipments and store freight in the correct locations.
- Pick, pack, label and scan consignments accurately.
- Complete manifests, damage reports and other warehouse documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely, where trained and authorised.
- Complete pre-use equipment checks and follows vehicle safety procedures.
- Report damaged freight, accidents, near misses and site hazards.
- Keep trailers, warehouse floors, bays, stairs and yard areas clean and safe.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment.
- Treat colleagues, equipment and facilities with respect.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as instructed by management.
Our Ideal Person:
- Forklift / Counterbalance driving licence. – Ideally minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Clear verbal communication.
- Basic health and safety awareness.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work effectively within a team.
- Able to adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Reliable and Punctual.
