Part-Time Delivery Driver (Cover & Support Role)
Location Glasgow & Surrounding Areas
Start Date: Training begins Monday 6th of July
We are looking for a reliable and flexible Part-Time Driver to support our existing driver and provide cover during holidays, sickness and busy periods.
This role is ideal for someone looking for steady part-time work with occasional full-time weeks.
Role Overview
-Guaranteed 1 full day per week (Monday) - minimum 8 hours paid
- Additional hours required to cover holiday, sickness and peak periods
- Driving a company van on established customer routes
- Start time 7.30am (8.30 on school holidays ), finishing time varies depending on daily route
-Routes and workload differ day-to-day
Training
-at least a weeks training
-Monday to Friday, full working days.
-You will shadow and learn all routes, customers, and procedures
-Must successfully complete training
Requirements
-Must be aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
-Minimum 2 years driving experience (insurance requirement)
-Full UK driving licence
-Reliable, punctual, and flexible
-Able to work full weeks when covering the main driver
-Good customer manner and communication
- Some domestic environments can involve strong laundry or household odour so must be comfortable working in all environments.
-Experience driving vans preferred but not essential

This role is subject to a 3 month probationary period, during which performance, reliability and suitability for the role will be assessed.
Employment may be terminated during this period with 1 weeks notice.
