Founded in 2001, Platinum Transport Solutions has established itself as the premier moffett specialist provider within the South of England. Based in Belvedere Kent, we are looking for class 2 drivers to fill positions on our 18t tail lift and 26t moffett vehicles. We are a FORS Gold operator and most of our work is based around the construction, events & the machinery sectors.
There is little manual handling involved, however the odd use of a pump truck may be required depending on customer/ site requirements. This is not a pallet network position.
The successful candidate must be able to drive into Central London as well as further afield.
What we require from you:
· Class 2 driving licence (Category C)
· Valid tachograph card & CPC
- Mofett licence ideally but will train the right candidate
· HGV experience an advantage but not essential, we will take on newly passed drivers
· Have no major endorsements on your licence
· Ability to learn quickly
· Have good communication skills
· Be willing to undertake continuous training when needed in line with our accreditation requirements and audit purposes
· Be versatile and willing to adapt to change
· Keep the vehicle clean inside and out
· Conduct vehicle checks
· Understand drivers’ hours and WTD rules

Hours of work are generally Mon-Fri although some overtime may be required as per business requirements. Night outs are rare but flexibility is a must.
If you are finished before 10 hours, you are paid for 10 hours.
10 hours work required before overtime rate of time and a half
Weekend rate is double time
£34,000 OTE
