Responsibilities
- Regulate entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorizing access for staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Conduct regular CCTV surveillance to monitor activity across the premises, identifying any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and responding appropriately.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring prompt and professional care in emergency situations.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and CCTV footage reviews to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Enforce site policies and procedures with professionalism and courtesy, creating a safe environment for all.
- Respond swiftly to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services if required.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques to effectively monitor premises.
- Familiarity with loss prevention methods to deter theft and vandalism.
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is essential for employment eligibility.
- Basic first aid certification is highly desirable to handle medical emergencies confidently.
