Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of designated areas using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment to ensure optimal hygiene standards.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of cleaning stations and equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained and stored properly.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to carry out detailed cleaning tasks in hard-to-reach or specialized areas.
- Follow strict health and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent contamination or accidents.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and report any maintenance issues or hazards immediately.
- Support construction or refurbishment projects by preparing spaces for cleaning or sanitization procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, tasks completed, and any issues encountered to ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, or deep cleaning and foaming work is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, or facilities maintenance role is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including standing for long periods, lifting, and bending.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to hygiene and manual handling is preferred.
