What you will be doing:
We are seeking a fully qualified Financial Controller (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to lead financial control, reporting, and governance within a complex, project-based environment. The role requires a technically strong individual with a proven track record of delivering accurate, timely financial reporting, maintaining robust controls, and owning end-to-end finance processes.
You will report to the Finance Director and will lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring clear accountability and consistent delivery to deadlines. An important part of the role will be identifying and implementing continuous improvements to strengthen financial operation and support business growth.
This is a key hands-on position requiring an individual who, beyond finance responsibilities, will act as a trusted Business Partner to Operational Leaders and senior stakeholders in providing insight, challenge and strategic support.

What you will bring:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA)
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Demonstrable experience of Project accounting and associated controls
- Experience of preparation of published Statutory Accounts and associated disclosures
- Exposure to preparation of UK corporate tax and VAT returns
- Strong systems capability, including advanced Excel and ability to manipulate and analyse large amounts of data
- Previous supervisory experience
- Background in accounting for Construction or Facilities Management is an advantage
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar Enterprise reporting tools
