Part-time – approximately 20 hours per week
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and confident Bar Person to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role will be for approximately 20 hours per week and will include a mixture of evening and weekend shifts, so flexibility is important.
The role will include:
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Taking payments and handling cash
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Keeping the bar and surrounding areas clean and tidy
- Restocking fridges and bar supplies
- Following licensing, age-verification and responsible service procedures
- Helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests
- Assisting with busy club nights, events and functions when required
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing with customers
- Is reliable and punctual
- Can work well independently and as part of a team
- Is confident handling cash and card payments
- Can remain calm and organised during busy periods
- Is flexible and able to work evenings and weekends
Previous bar or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but we are happy to consider applicants with the right attitude who are willing to learn.
Due to the nature of the role and the sale of alcohol, applicants must be 18 or over.
Hours
Approximately 20 hours per week, worked across a rota including evenings and weekends.
Additional hours may occasionally be available to cover holidays, sickness and events.
Pay
Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.
