Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Woodshop Assembly Worker to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Assemble wooden components according to detailed specifications and drawings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment as required for assembly tasks
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure product standards are met
- Lift heavy components safely and assist with material handling within the workshop
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve workflow processes
Experience
- Prior experience in woodworking, fabrication, or assembly roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and sewing equipment is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
