Assignments may include:
- Covering staff absence.
- Supporting colleagues undertaking teacher training.

- Supporting Department for Education initiatives, including Taking Teaching Further (TTF) by covering remission given for early career support.
- Providing additional teaching and assessment capacity where demand is high.
