Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional guest service, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Responsibilities
- Greet guests courteously and seat them comfortably
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures, are adhered to at all times
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations throughout shifts
- Handle guest enquiries efficiently and professionally, providing excellent guest services
- Manage cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is desirable but not essential; a friendly attitude and eagerness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a welcoming demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A proactive approach to guest satisfaction and team collaboration
