Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pond Maintenance Operative to join our team in Saffron Walden. Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of ponds, including cleaning filters, pumps and removing debris.
- Use hand tools and power tools for repairs, planting, and landscape enhancements.
- Manage aquatic systems to ensure optimal water distribution and pond health.
- Perform general maintenance duties including planting, pruning, and plant management.
- Maintain safety standards during all operations and ensure the work area is kept tidy.
- Monitor water quality levels and implement necessary treatments or adjustments.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining aquatic environments.
- Physical fitness to undertake manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions.
