Duties
- Carefully select items from inventory using picking and packing techniques to fulfill customer orders
- Pack products securely using appropriate materials handling methods to prevent damage during transit
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying inbound and outbound deliveries with warehouse management systems
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure orders are accurate, complete, and meet company standards
- Stock shelves and organize inventory efficiently to support quick order processing and stock replenishment
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety standards
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling is highly preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for understanding equipment operation is advantageous
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload shipments regularly
- Strong attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality control processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
