Help shape a business-critical Consumer Duty project
We're looking for a Product Governance Analyst to join our propositions team in Horsham, on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting the delivery of a significant Closed Products Review programme.
This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile initiative that sits at the heart of our commitment to delivering good client outcomes and meeting Consumer Duty requirements. You'll play a key role in gathering, validating and analysing data, engaging with product providers, supporting compliance assessments, and producing management information that helps drive informed decision-making.
The role would suit someone with experience in financial services operations, paraplanning, platform administration, or business analysis who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
Working within a dedicated project team, you will support the delivery of our Closed Products Review programme by analysing product and client data, maintaining accurate records, engaging with providers, and producing audit-ready documentation.
You'll work closely with the Propositions Director, subject matter experts, stakeholders, operations teams and compliance colleagues to help deliver key project milestones.
- Maintain and validate closed product datasets, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Engage with providers to obtain fair value assessments and supporting product information
- Maintain the central closed products register
- Support Consumer Duty and suitability assessments
- Monitor and report on client impacts and segmentation
- Produce management information and reporting outputs
- Create and maintain robust audit trails and supporting documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support successful project delivery
- Use technology and data analysis tools to support decision making and problem solving

3-5 years' experience within financial services
- Strong data analysis, validation and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using Microsoft 365, including Excel
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience within a financial planning environment
- Operational, paraplanning or platform administration experience
- Understanding of pensions, investments and protection products
- Knowledge of FCA regulation and Consumer Duty requirements
- Experience working within project or change programmes
You'll be based at the Benchmark Head Office, or one of our regional offices across the network, Our HQ is within our Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex but will need to be present across our other offices, including the main Schroders headquarters in London.
