Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy distribution team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries, checking quantities and reporting any discrepancies.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders in line with company procedures and deadlines.
- Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Store stock in designated warehouse locations and maintain an organised working environment.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Report damaged goods, stock issues, or safety concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Support colleagues and undertake additional warehouse duties as required to meet business needs.

- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
