Pay: £14.96 per hour (£29,172.00 per annum)

Job Role
As Senior Housing Engagement Worker, you will create and maintain a safe, supportive, and secure environment for residents, offering a programme of positive activities designed to address the various barriers faced by young people. This role ensures that residents are actively involved in the needs, risk and planning of the service, facilitating their progression towards more independent living. While on duty, the role also involves providing support to other staff members in the team and ensuring the health, safety, security, and well-being of all service users, staff, and visitors.

What youll need to succeed
We're looking for an experienced support worker or housing worker who has worked with vulnerable people with support needs. You will have a knowledge of housing legislation, including tenancy management, with experience of undertaking needs and risk assessment and support planning. You must have experience of taking the lead or managing others, with the ability to demonstrate emotional stability and resilience to pressure whilst working within the agreed standards of professional boundaries and confidentiality. Ideally, you will hold a Level 3 professional or skilled based qualification in Housing, but if not, you must be willing to work towards this as and when required.
