M&M Supply is recruiting an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant Level 1 on behalf of a highly regarded education provider. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team dedicated to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with learning, develop confidence, and achieve success. You will provide support both within the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping children overcome barriers and flourish.
Your role will include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting with classroom learning and planned educational activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion
- Helping pupils develop social, emotional, and academic skills
- Monitoring and recording progress
- Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
- Assisting during educational visits, activities, and school events
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable
- Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Has excellent communication skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Previous experience in education, childcare, youth work, care settings, or support roles is desirable but not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
