Established in 1999, Water Treatment Products Ltd is one of the leading water treatment companies in the UK. We formulate, supply and manufacture specialty chemicals for a wide range of companies.
MAIN PURPOSE: To ensure theefficient and timely control of stock in accordance with company policy and procedures. The role is predominantly office based, but some yard cover will be required during periods of annual leave etc.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES:
- Receive supplier deliveries, safely and efficiently following company procedures, including, but not exclusively tanker deliveries, pallet deliveries etc.
- Monitor compliance by suppliers with agreed service standards and ensure that all goods have been inspected at delivery stage for quality, quantity, dimensions and specification.
- Process purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring products meet regulatory and quality specifications.
- Liaise with suppliers and ordering to help ensure the timely delivery of goods at the best prices and resolve any discrepancies on the ordering/delivery of items.
- Planning production runs in cooperation with Production Manager.
- Run stock reports and help process stock takes.
- Manage site stock levels and arrange the removal of excess stock to offsite storage.
- Projecting of bulk filling production for pre-filled stock when required
- Loading and offloading of vehicle/tankers when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Previous experience in a stock, inventory, or administration role is desirable.
- Able to work effectively with computerised systems and software such as Excel, Word, Outlook and SAGE.
- Strong communication and team player complemented with a strong work ethic is required.
- SAGE 200 experience advantageous to the role, but training will be provided.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organisational ability.
- Forklift License, desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Confident in problem solving.
- Co-operate fully with the management in all matters of health and safety.
