Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Liaison at Fertility Plus in London. We are seeking a compassionate and professional Patient Liaison to provide support to patients and healthcare providers during clinical appointments and procedures. As a Patient Liaison, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and privacy, while also promoting a safe and respectful environment in accordance with the clinic’s policies. This position requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient confidentiality, the ability to maintain professional boundaries, understanding what needs to be done, prioritizing, and adapting to change.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Support
- Greet and support patients throughout their clinic visits with warmth and professionalism
- Assist consultants and nurses during consultations, scans, and procedures
- Act as a chaperone during intimate examinations, ensuring patient comfort and clinical safety
- Help manage clinic flow to ensure patients are seen promptly
- Communicate professionally with patients if appointments are delayed
Clinical Environment & Infection Control
- Maintain rigorous infection control standards, including hand hygiene protocols between each patient
- Thoroughly disinfect examination rooms and equipment after every patient according to clinical guidelines
- Take basic patient observations (blood pressure, height, weight)
- Set up and assist with clinical procedures as required
- Ensure all consulting rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked
Administrative & Operational Support
- Register patients using clinic software systems
- Conduct weekly stock takes of medications and supplies
- Manage deliveries and stock distribution
- Provide reception cover during breaks when needed
- Complete end-of-day clinical area checks and cleaning protocols
- Monitor and maintain medical equipment
- Report any issues or concerns to clinic management promptly

The job will range from 7am – 6pm for 9 hours per day with a 30min unpaid break. You must be flexible in your working hours to accommodate clinic requirements.
