We are looking for a legal cashier to join our accounts team in Margate. This is a busy and varied role where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are essential.
To be considered for this position, you will need experience in working within a busy accounts team, ideally in a legal environment, with a good understanding of the demands and responsibilities involved.
Your duties will include processing client and office account transactions, making postings, preparing cheques and processing bank transfers. You will also assist with daily banking functions, including bank and office reconciliations, the purchase ledger and other accounts and administrative duties as required.
We are looking for someone who takes a meticulous approach to their work and can manage a busy workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will be well organised, flexible and helpful, with strong communication skills and a commitment to providing a high standard of service to colleagues across the firm.
You will be joining a supportive team and playing an important part in the smooth day-to-day running of one of East Kent’s largest and most established legal practices.
This is a full-time position based at our Margate office, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The role comes with 25 days’ holiday per annum.
