Join our team as a Host/Hostess/Waiter at The Perch Rooftop Bar, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest services in our bar. This energetic role offers the opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests by providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. Whether greeting guests at the door, managing reservations, or assisting with table service, you'll play a vital part in delivering a lively and positive atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel comfortable and appreciated from the moment they walk in
- Manage reservations efficiently, coordinating seating arrangements to optimize guest flow
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions with enthusiasm
- Assist with taking orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables quickly between parties
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and a lively dining environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience in hotel or guest services is a plus, demonstrating your ability to provide exceptional customer care
- Ability to handle serving responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservation systems and serving protocols
